A Warm Welcome to Every New Parishioner

The Hospitality Ministry is one of the first friendly faces new parishioners encounter at Our Lady of the Assumption. Our volunteers reach out personally to newly registered families with a warm phone call, answer any questions they may have, and offer an in‑person visit with a welcome basket. It’s a simple gesture that helps newcomers feel at home and ensures they see familiar faces when they come to Mass or parish events.

Hospitality also supports parish life throughout the year by hosting our monthly Wine & Cheese Social after the 4:30 PM Mass—a relaxed opportunity for parishioners to meet, mingle, and build community. In addition, our members lovingly prepare and serve at the annual Mass of Remembrance, offering comfort and care to families honoring loved ones.
