Midnight Run
Serving our neighbors experiencing food and housing insecurity
The Midnight Run Ministry provides essential meals and basic necessities to individuals facing food and housing insecurity in the New Haven area. Twice each month, volunteers prepare 100 fresh meals that are delivered to the Amistad Catholic Worker House, which then shares any additional meals with others in need throughout the community.
How We Serve
Our ministry gathers in the church hall to prepare meals and assemble care items. Everything we make is delivered the same day, ensuring that our neighbors receive support that is immediate, meaningful, and rooted in Christian charity.
- Meal Preparation: 100 meals twice a month
- Delivery Site: Amistad Catholic Worker House, New Haven
- Impact: Meals and essentials shared with local homeless individuals
When We Meet
We meet in the church hall on a regular monthly schedule:
- First Tuesday of the month: 2:00 PM
- Third Tuesday of the month: 3:00 PM
Weekly bulletin listings include any updates to dates or times.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for helping hands—individuals, families, teens, and adults—to join us in preparing meals, organizing supplies, and supporting this vital outreach. No experience is needed; just a generous heart and willingness to serve.
The ministry also includes an alternate‑week team coordinated by Mary Hill.
